TAIPING: We are pleased to be invited by our local council, Majlis Perbandaran Taiping (MPT) to attend the campaign of Avoid the Use of Polystyrene and Single-Use Plastics.
A Door Open to Possibilities
Both stakeholders and the public have expressed strong interest and provided positive feedback on collaborating to find more effective ways to reduce the massive consumption of single-use plastics.
The coaster serves as an example, illustrating that plastic is not waste but a valuable resource we can leverage to build a more sustainable ecosystem.
This on-the-ground demonstration has introduced a practical solution to help address the single-use plastic problem. Of course, stopping the use of single-use plastics would be the best solution.
Fun Facts
We would like to thank all the personnel of the local town council for their help in moving our machine to the location. Without their assistance, it would not have been possible to make this happen on such short notice.
We were shocked that two escort vehicles were assigned, along with the truck (shown below), to pick up our machine a day before the campaign.
